For the past three years, Sequel PR has partnered with CSIRO to provide strategic communications support across many of the science agency’s research areas.
Our work with CSIRO began in 2017, when we were commissioned to develop digital campaigns for two major events and build an ambassador profile.
When CSIRO and the world farewelled the Cassini spacecraft on its final mission from the Canberra Deep Space Centre, Sequel developed a series of stories that captured the imagination and over 30,000 views.
A similar result was achieved when Sequel designed a campaign to promote a digital book from CSIRO’S Oceans and Atmosphere division.
We also helped announce Olympic swimmer and science nut Cameron McEvoy as the first CSIRO ambassador. Sequel devised a series of video posts showcasing Cam’s involvement and the robotics arm of the organisation. The first post generated 14,000 views in 24 hours with hugely positive audience engagement.
Since those early projects, our team has also supported communications advisers in fields such as health, biosecurity, climate, environment, resources, agriculture and even space. We are accustomed to working on collaborative programs involving multiple stakeholders.
From Media and Presentation Training for key spokespeople, to comprehensive communications campaigns including creation of print and digital assets, Sequel PR has proven itself as an agency with a unique capability to grasp complex subject matter and make it resonate with audiences and stakeholders alike.
