Public Education Campaigns

Strong media networks and expertise in marketing communications and media relations is why Sequel PR is sought-after when it comes to the implementation of public information and education campaigns.

We have worked to educate stakeholders and the wider community on new initiatives or public infrastructure improvements – for example Brisbane City Council’s CityCycle public bicycle hire scheme, programs such as Active and Healthy Parks and campaigns to promote kerbside recycling; the opening of Airportlink M7; the Racing Industry Infrastructure Plan, upgrading assets and facilities.

We have also delivered public health messaging – such as AMA Queensland’s Suicide Watch campaign; Suncorp Bank’s highly successful Sunwise project, raising awareness around prevention and early detection of skin cancer; and nationally, the Australian Organ and Tissue Authority’s launch of its DonateLife brand, urging Australians to “have the conversation” about organ donation.

We’ve been responsible for helping shift consumer sentiment too. For example, our team created a national pro-ethanol campaign when E10 was first introduced into Australia, helping to build acceptance for the product and correct widespread misinformation.
