Karin Wong - Account Manager

Karin's regional and international experience in public relations, promotions and event management stems from having worked for a range of leading global companies.

Prior to joining the Sequel team, Karin was a Senior Consultant at a leading global public relations agency in Singapore with a focus on enterprise technology.

Karin now affords her Brisbane and Australian clients her Asia-Pacific experience and insights. Her clients include the national coach company Greyhound Australia, mega brand Coca-Cola, Springfield Land Corporation and Brisbane CBD shopping icon, Wintergarden.

Some highlights of her career at Sequel PR include launching the first iPhone 3G in Queensland for Vodafone resulting in highly-valued coverage across a wide range of media, overseeing Brisbane City Council's launch of the CityCycle public bike hire scheme, managing the publicity of the 2010 Suncorp Wallabies Ball Kid campaign and achieving more than 200 stories in key metropolitan media across the country. 

Her fluency in Mandarin was put to good use as she played a significant role in assisting Chinese-speaking overseas delegates and media at the 2007 Asia Pacific Cities Summit in Brisbane.
