Andrew Trewin - Senior Consultant
Andrew Trewin is one of Queensland’s longest-serving television journalists having covered many of the state’s major stories for more than 20 years, including the Fitzgerald Inquiry, floods and cyclones, politics, and high-profile court cases.
Andrew has also won a Queensland Media Award for his work on the citrus canker virus which devastated parts of the state’s industry.
Andrew brings a depth of experience and a unique insight into Queensland’s state-of-affairs, having encountered major issues on a first-hand basis, as a 25 year Channel Nine News veteran. Andrew also worked as a producer-reporter for SBS TV during its introduction to the Queensland market.
Andrew has also worked in commercial television production, having created corporate training and information videos, as well as advertisements.
Andrew has also devised and implemented corporate media training programs for State Government ministers, major business clients, and scientific bodies such as CSIRO and Primary Industries.
During his time at Sequel he has used his TV experience to support numerous clients including coordinating a half-hour TV special for the RSL’s Poppy Appeal with the Nine Network Queensland.
